About Me

I’m Alexis Johnson, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor located in the Bay Area of California - here to support you through life’s most complex and difficult transitions. My passion for supporting clients during life transitions began in graduate school and continues to blossom with each client relationship I form.

My experiences in the past have taught me the importance of witnessing great pain and great joy. I believe we cannot have one without the other. I specialize in supporting clients experiencing grief and loss as well as struggles with addiction and/or substance use issues. I focus on guiding clients who have experienced trauma, need guidance with stress management, and want to better cope with anxiety and depression.

My goal is to support clients in building self esteem, strengthening and deepening relationships, and creating long-lasting, healthy lifestyle habits. I approach this goal by meeting you where you are at, collaborating with you to find goals we can work towards, and supporting you in implementing achievable changes to your life. I want to partner with you in finding the best path forward.
