About Me

I’m Alexis Johnson, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor located in the Bay Area of California - here to support you through life’s complexities and difficult transitions. My passion for supporting clients during life transitions began in graduate school and continues to blossom with each client relationship I form.

My personal experiences and studies have taught me the importance of witnessing great pain and great joy. I believe we cannot have one without the other. Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and I strive to create a non-judgmental and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings openly. Whether you are facing the aftermath of a traumatic event, struggling with anxiety or depression, coping with grief, navigating the challenges of addiction, or coping with significant life changes, I am here to offer support and guidance as you heal and build a meaningful life.

My mission is to create a safe and nurturing environment for clients to explore their emotions, develop coping mechanisms, and embark on a journey towards mental and emotional well-being. I bring a wealth of expertise in trauma-informed therapy, utilizing a client-centered approach to tailor interventions that meet the unique needs of each individual. My goal is to support clients in building self esteem, strengthening and deepening relationships, and creating long-lasting, healthy lifestyle habits. Take control of your healing process, and experience the benefits of weekly support tailored to your unique challenges.
